Official Opening Read More Dr Hughes will officially open the congress and will set the scene for a thought provoking congress. What really is the nursing climate at the moment, what does she foresee in the future for nursing as a whole? What do we need to ensure we have a role and the support required to enhance and advance cancer nursing? What are the threats and opportunities for our role and what should we be doing now to ensure we survive in the way we want to, not in the way that economics and government may want us to. |

Plenary Session 1 - Who are we, where are we going and how do we get there? Read More Brenda will talk about leadership. She will outline ways in which we need to take ownership of ourselves and our profession, how we can influence change, how we are all leaders in our own way, and how we can recognise and take responsibility for our own practices and where we can direct our future in cancer nursing. Our future is in our hands, we need to take it, grab it, and own it. |
